The backstories for Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 have been covered in a new Fallout Retrospective from the guys over at Gametrailers.
The retrospective looks at all aspects of the first two games in the post-apocalyptic classic series that is beloved by gamers everywhere and will serve to get you amped up and well-informed (if you haven’t played the games previously) for the next game in the series, Bethesda’s Fallout 3, which is scheduled for release tomorrow in the United States and everywhere else by Halloween for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

… And they should have put a big SPOILER tag at the front of the video because they told the game endings for Fallout 1 and 2 in it! Do they not realise how many people bought Fallout 1 and/or 2 this year because of all the Fallout 3 hype and many have not finished these games?
This is another sign that the gaming media does not live in the real world of games and gamers any more, and if they are talking about products that do not garner profit for their gaming industry masters they do not care. It’s why IGN will announce 10 million subscribers for WoW, but not cover the news that DOSBox had its 5 millionth download 3 months ago! One garners profit the other is a free utility. So much for existing to support gamers!
