Since the new Xbox Experience launches worldwide on November 19, Microsoft announced that the Xbox 360 software update requires 128MB’s of free space on your hard drive. But what if you own no memory card or just a memory card for your save games? Well, then you won’t be able to use features like Xbox Live Primetime and video downloads, so Microsoft has thought up a solution for those Xbox 360 Core and Arcade console owners.

Here’s how you can get a free memory card or cheap hard drive from Microsoft:
* Xbox 360 Core console owners are eligible for either a free 512MB Memory Card or a refurbished 20GB HDD for $19.99.
* Xbox 360 Arcade console owners are eligible for a refurbished 20GB Hard Drive plus 3 months of Xbox Live for $29.99.

If you want to find out what you’re eligible for, then you can go to the Xbox.com Memory Update page where you enter your Xbox 360’s serial number to find out how Microsoft will help you out.
