Hudson Soft reports that their Wii-exclusive sports game Deca Sports has sold 500,000 copies worldwide. So far the company has shipped out 700,000 copies to Japan, North America and Europe according to Famitsu.
Looks like they’ve been successful in motivating players to get off of the couch and up on their feet for the 10 sporting activities which support both single and 4-player multiplayer modes. Turning a new leaf after Wii Sports’ tennis, bowling, boxing, baseball and golf activities; the sports included on Deca Sports are beach volleyball, snowboard cross, badminton, basketball, curling, figure skating, archery, supercross, soccer and kart racing.
