Tetris Party has been announced as an exclusive WiiWare title from developer Hudson Soft.

Coming this Autumn, Tetris Party is a multiplayer-focused spin on the classic brick-dropping puzzle game we all know and love. Supporting up to four-players both locally and online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, players use the unique point-and-click feature of the Wii Remote to change how you play Tetris, including a really cool co-op mode that has a very large well in which two-players can grab and drop Tetris pieces at the same time!

18 Game Modes are included in Tetris Party, some of them are:

* Balance Marathon Mode: The player uses the balance board to control the blocks
* Co-Op Multiplayer Mode: Using a wider then normal Tetris screen, both players have falling blocks and control them.
* Duel Mode: Instead of lines, people try to create larger areas of their color.
* Marathon Mode: 15 level of standard Tetris.
* Versus Battle Mode: A four player versus mode.
* Versus Field Climber Mode: Help a tiny climber climb up Tetris pieces to the top first.
* Versus Shadow Mode: Compete with others to fill a picture using Tetris pieces.
* Wi-Fi Battle Mode: A six player online battle mode.

And yup, you read that right.

Tetris Party will support the Wii Balance Board for fun modes in which you must control the Tetris blocks using your feet! How’s that for innovation!
