First Call of Duty 5: World at War video

The first footage of Call of Duty 5: World at War has finally been revealed.

As previously reported, the game brings the series to a new setting; From modern day Middle East in Call of Duty 4, to the Pacific Theater of World War II in Call of Duty: World at War. It will be the first Call of Duty to feature co-op play for between one and four players for the entire campaign. Multiplayer focuses on squad elements as well as vehicular combat.

Those features will be hitting the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, with the Wii version not only including support for the Wii Remote & Nunchuck, but also the Wii Zapper and unlike the PS2 & DS versions the Wii game will be running on the Call of Duty 4 engine like the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 versions.

As the video reveals (which is only for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions), new features to Call of Duty: World At War include: Flamethrowers and bayonets, destructible environments and the ability to climb trees! As well as the previously mentioned four-player co-op.
